    The reason Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s face has been featured on the dime since 1946, is because as a Polio victim in 1938, created The National Foundation of Infantile Paralysis better known as The March of Dimes.  

  When John and Jacqueline Kennedy’s last child, Patrick Bouvier Kennedy died after only two days, his mother was too weak to attend his funeral leaving his heartbroken father to bear it alone.

  As the tiny casket was lowered into the ground, JFK broke into sobs saying “It’s so dark down there,” his Secret Service detail saying, how they’d never seen him cry before.
